Comic Relief 2025

To support Comic Relief, we had our annual Comic Relief week, starting 19th March, packed full of fun activities!

On Wednesday at lunchtime, we held a game of Family Feud in the Hall, where 2 teams of 4 students from different year groups competed to guess the most common answers to questions like “what excuse do you give for not handing in homework?”

On Thursday we had the annual Kendrick Student Leaders (KSL) vs teachers dodgeball match! Full of determination, the KSL went head-to-head against the undefeated teachers. However, we lost yet again 3-0, so the teachers keep the crown another year! It was an exciting match with a lot of memorable fun moments.

On Friday, we dressed up as something beginning with C or with R, and we presented our beloved Comic Relief tradition, a whole school music video - this time, ‘Unwritten’ by Natasha Bedingfield! Each form as well as teachers, canteen staff and the KSL sang and danced along!

To round up the week, we had the Kendrick vs Reading School Volleyball match. It was extremely close, but ended with Reading School winning! Thank you to everyone who played and to everyone who came to watch us - your support made it memorable.

We would like to thank all students and staff for getting involved! It was a wonderful week, and we raised an impressive £454 for Comic Relief, which will make a real difference to many communities across the country as well as abroad.
