Mathematics Teacher (0.3 FTE) - temporary position
 

Graded ‘Outstanding’ in its recent OFSTED inspection, Kendrick School is a centre of academic excellence with a track record of high performance and achievement.

Required for September 2024, well-qualified and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher at this successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in Reading.

The majority of our students study Mathematics at A Level with many of them going on to study Mathematics and Mathematics related subjects at university. Applicants need to be able to teach Mathematics at KS3 and GCSE. The successful applicant would be joining a supportive and very experienced department

Latin Teacher (0.2 FTE)

Required for September 2024, well-qualified and enthusiastic Latin Teacher at this successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in Reading.

Students at Kendrick are given the unique and invaluable opportunity to study Latin alongside other Modern Foreign Languages.  Latin is taught at all Key Stages.  It is compulsory in Years 8 and 9, after which it is an option at Key Stages 4 and 5.  In addition to Latin, Classical Civilisation is studied at A Level.

The successful applicant must be able to teach Latin at KS3. The ability to teach Latin at GCSE and Classical Civilisation at A Level would be advantageous but not essential.

French and German Teacher(s) - 0.5FTE 

One or two roles available – a French and German Teacher(0.5FTE), or a French Teacher (0.3FTE) and a German Teacher (0.2FTE)

French and German are valued subjects at Kendrick School. All students study both French and German in Years 7-9 and must study one language at GCSE. A number of students study French and German at A-Level and some go on to study a modern language at university. All our staff are subject specialists with a wealth of teaching experience.

The successful applicant(s) must be able to teach French and/or German at KS3. The ability to teach at GCSE and A Level in either language is an advantage but not essential.
