As part of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, our Student Wellbeing Ambassadors and staff organised an Inside Out 2 event around this year's theme of Know Yourself, Grow Yourself.
The theme encourages children, young people and adults to embrace self-awareness and explore what it means to them. Place to Be partnered with Disney Inside Out 2 to help children and young people to discover how getting to know who they are can help them build resilience, grow and develop.
At school our students took part in chalk drawing to express their emotions creatively, emotional bingo to match feelings with fun in tutor time, and today we held a fun event in our hall with stalls of fun games, compliment boards, and challenges, each themed around a different emotion.
