Grand Clothes Swap
As part of our initiative to reduce waste, one of our key focusses for the Eco Schools Award, we organised a ‘Grand Clothes Swap’. This allowed students to donate pre-loved, second-hand clothing and accessories to either trade them for others or buy some from an array of clothing at a very low price.
It was great fun to run this event, and also very rewarding to show people that it is possible to purchase good quality clothes sustainably and affordably whilst discouraging fast fashion and waste.
We are so grateful for all the donations we received and the enthusiasm shown which made the event a success!
