    Kendrick School has a Parents’ Association, Kendrick Parents’ Society. This is a committee of parents who exist not only to raise much-needed additional funds for the school, but also to provide opportunities for parents to meet each other and to socialise.  Kendrick families often a distance apart and with students old enough to make their own way home, parents are not as likely to meet at the school gates. The KPS events are an opportunity for parents to get to know other parents.

    KPS runs a closed Facebook group where we provide details of upcoming events and other important information. To join this group, search for the “Kendrick Parents’ Society” group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1514675551882470/) and ask to join – once we have confirmed that you are a member of the KPS, we will approve your request. 

    Collect Printer Cartridges

    The KPS raise funds for our school through recycling used ink cartridges.

    We are working with a company called ‘Empties Please’. They collect and recycle used ink and toner cartridges the environmentally friendly way and will donate the money raised back to us!

    It’s very simple. All we have to do is collect used ink cartridges and put them in our recycle bin that is by the Servery. ‘Empties Please’ will collect the bin when it’s full and then donate money raised straight back to our school.

    We encourage you to continue your purchases with Amazon. You don’t need to separately log into smile.amazon.co.uk. If you have the Amazon app on your hand-held phone devise, go to Menu (bottom right 3 bars), chose Gifting and Charity option, choose AmazonSmile and then Kendrick Parents’ Society as your Charity to support. You can raise money for KPS whenever you shop via Amazon now, it’s easy!! Amazon donates 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases.

    Profit Match/Matched Giving

    Many companies will match charitable donations made by their employees or match funds raised by KPS if their employees have volunteered at events . 

    This scheme can up to DOUBLE what we raise for the school. We will give you as much help and support as you need to get involved and help you complete any paperwork required to prove your involvement.

    As you are aware, we run many events and also support school activities like music or drama performances during the year. We need volunteers to help these events even if for few hours.     Pre-loved Uniform Shop Volunteers

    Are you available on Saturday mornings? We’re looking for volunteers to help run our pre-loved uniform shop.
