  • Jennifer Brace

Jennifer attended Kendrick School from 2000 – 2007, serving on the Head Girl Team.  She remains in close contact with many of her Kendrick friends to this day.   Following her A-Levels, Jennifer read Law at the University of Bristol.  In her time at the University of Bristol, Jennifer was on the leadership team for the University of Bristol Law Clinic, providing a pro-bono legal advice service for vulnerable individuals without access to justice in the Bristol area.

After graduation Jennifer was part of the inaugural intake at the Bristol campus of the University of Law, to study the Legal Practice Course. Having taken part in summer placements at international law firms in London and Bristol, Jennifer chose to stay in Bristol upon graduation, accepting a training contract with international law firm Osborne Clarke LLP.

As a solicitor at Osborne Clarke LLP, Jennifer completed four six-month placements in different departments within the firm before qualifying as a solicitor into the commercial Real Estate practice group in 2013.  Since qualifying as a solicitor, Jennifer has developed expertise in commercial retail, investment and telecoms law in the real estate sector.  Working for an international law firm involves frequent meetings in London with regular opportunities for international business (Jennifer has recently spent time in the Barcelona and Munich offices of Osborne Clarke LLP).

Jennifer and her husband Matthew had their son Rupert in September 2018 and after just over a year of maternity leave, Jennifer has now returned to work.  Jennifer regularly pushes the agenda for equality and womens‘ rights in her business.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys travelling to exotic places around the world.  Jennifer also devotes time to raising money for Cots for Tots (the Bristol Children’s Hospital charity) and she has run the London marathon twice.
